OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER FOR A REASON
A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package.
What food might this contain? The mouse wondered - he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.
Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning :
There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!
The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me." " I cannot be bothered by it."
The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"
The pig sympathized, but said, I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. "Be assured you are in my prayers."
The mouse turned to the cow and said "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"
The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose."
So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone.
That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.
The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught.
The snake bit the farmer's wife. The farmer rushed her to the hospital , and she returned home with a fever.
Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.
But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock.
To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.
The farmer's wife did not get well; she died.
So many people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them.
The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.
So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you, remember -- when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.
We are all involved in this journey called life. We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.

Shandur Polo Festival
Shandur is a 12,500ft above sea level valley in Northern Areas of Paksitan where a festival and polo match is held each year in July.
This year i was very enthusiastic to experiance this event live. Unfortunately i don't have enough money to fulfill my dream. From Karachi it would have cost me nearly Rs.40,000. PTDC was offering the cheapest package i.e. Rs.27,000 starting from Islamabad to Chitral to Shanduur to Phunder to Gilgit to Hunza and back to Islamabad. All travelling, lodging and food is included in the package. It also include three days camping in Shandur. Air fare for a return ticket between Karachi and Islamabad would have cost me nearly Rs.10,000.
It's really adventurous and i really want to attend this so i m thinking of going there next year. Unfortunately i found this article written by Masud Alam for BBC News which gives a perception that this festival is not pure in its spirit now. It might have lost its cultural essense and beauty. But i m sure there are still many attractions for persons like me. So still dreaming for it.

Still to come .....
No one is sure what is happening in Pakistan these days. Current happenings in Pakistan adds to the fact that here human life has no value.
People have been killed in many different forms. Sometimes its poverty, sometimes its for the sake of godfathers and sometimes its just for the sake of Pakistan's first. We are now so much used to the deaths that we don't care much but since few days things are gone worse. The death poll is rising day-by-day. Is it all because Movernment has raid on so-called islamic extremists or they still want to divert attention from judiciary rape?
What ever the case is but i am sure that a lot worse is still to come. Things won't get normal (can't think of better) and sometime i feel ashamed of being Pakistani ;(

i m not surprised ....
I m not surprised that Maulana Abdul Rasheed Ghazi has been killed in military final action against the unlawful acts from Lal Masjid. I was sure that this will happen otherwise he might produce facts which will not be acceptable in any conditions to some people.
I m not surprised that Movernment killed its own soldiers and many other people just to divert the people's attention from Judiciary rape and/or APC's reunion only for power.
I m not surprised that media has not been allowed to capture the actual happenings just because the Movernment cannot justify what they are doing.
There are a lot of voices now against and in favour of drama that last nearly for a week and which is prepared for years but i m assure of one thing that Abdul Rasheed Ghazi was just a puppet. Either his strings were in a hand of an indivisual or a group which surely come again with some other puppet very soon. So hangout and wait for a new show coming to your city very soon.

nice thinking
I was just surfing through the net and got a chance to visit the Flickr website where found this great message. Flickr is under repair for a while and they had printed a message saying "Flickr is having a Massage". I have seen many messages and some times no message when a website is down for some time but this one is so far great of all.

Mermaid in River Sindh
I just got this email containing pictures of mermaid in river sindh. I really get frustrated when people just send emails as it is without thinking or even not bothering to change the title.
The authenticity of these type of emails always remain with a question mark. Obviously not every email or report can be verified but at least they can add their comments.
Check out the PAKISTANI MERMAID which seems more to be an ALIEN !

Men At Work Men At Risk
Isn't this a dilemma of our nation that human's life don't have any value. There are a lot people and institutes including NGO's who are working for human rights but no one represents the actual needy especially poor persons.
The photos you are going to watch in this blog shows men working on steel towers mounted for high tension electric wires in Karachi, North Nazimabad, Block-C. Though, while working, these wires are not electrified but believe me these people are wearing no harness or support what so ever. No safety precautions have been taken and no one either cares for that. Obviously these people are needy persons who are ready to risk their lives just for few rupees, which surely not worth more than their lives.

Near about 4 people are on the top and one person is moving left while crawling on wire.
